Since the early 1990's the Fainting Goat has been a "novelty Item" prized for its ability to "stiffen" and fall over as if dead. But, those of us who raise them have come to realize that is by far not their full potential.

Today Fainters sell for their wonderful personalities as pets, for show, meat and even milk goats. Fainters are a registered breed found across the U.S. and Canada. They come in many patterns. Silver Cloud Farms does not have the largest herd in Oregon, but we do have one of the most colorful.
